The Blackout Express

Every time the city of Ashport loses power, a train that was scrapped forty years ago pulls into the dead station beneath 9th Street, and it only ever asks one question: what will you trade to get someone back? Paramedic Talia Vosk boarded it once by accident and came home with her missing brother's voice living in her radio instead of his body — and now the blackouts are lasting longer, spreading wider, and the conductor is done waiting for her to pay what she actually owes.
