The Nine-Minute Warning
Every night at the same hour, night auditor Odette Marsh's monitors flicker with a security clip that hasn't happened yet — footage of Platform Nine, timestamped nine minutes in the future, always ending in a body on the tracks. She has exactly that long to reach the platform and change what the camera has already seen, but the same pale passenger keeps appearing at the edge of every frame, watching her fail, watching her succeed, waiting for her to notice him watching at all.
